Bhumika is an Associate Counsel at Bekkering York. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Ba LL.B) from Indraprastha University in India and later completed her Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of British Columbia. Following this, she articled at a corporate and litigation Law firm in Vancouver and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2022.
Bhumika’s current practice area is focused on Insurance Defence, and she has experience in civil litigation and business law. During her time in law school, Bhumika volunteered at the Law Students Legal Advice and Legal Education Outreach Programs. Additionally, Bhumika was elected Vice President of the Allard Graduate Student Society at Allard Law, UBC. She was also selected for a full DAAD scholarship to pursue a Master of Law degree in Germany.
In her free time, Bhumika enjoys flying planes and exploring new places.
