Cal is originally from Vancouver, BC. After earning a bachelor of business administration at Simon Fraser University, Cal migrated to the east coast to obtain his law degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax. Cal was called to the BC Bar in 2020 after completing his articles with a boutique firm in Vancouver.
Cal currently practices primarily in the area of insurance defence and has experience in family law, wills and estates, civil litigation, and business law. He has appeared on matters before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court.
Outside of law, Cal is passionate about travelling and has worked or studied in seven different countries across the globe.
